The Ullenhall Players are our local amateur Dramatics society. When they lost the use of their own village Hall in Ullenhall they moved to Aston Cantlow and now put on productions in our Village Hall. Larger productions are also performed at the Palace Theatre in Redditch.
Their productions are always lighthearted and funny and should not be missed. You could even have a go at acting or helping with the sets & lighting.
Other amateur theatre groups in the area include:
The Avonside Players who are the drama group of the Methodist Church in Stratford upon Avon.
The Phoenix Players who are another great local amateur group who regularly perform at the Civic Hall in Startford upon Avon. Their annual pantomimes are hilarious and definitely not to be missed, but don’t miss out on other productions during the year.
Second Thoughts Drama Group have been running for around 30 years in Stratford and the surrounding area and are now considered a stalwart of the local amateur dramatics scene.
Amateur theatre is great value and surprisingly good. Follow the links for each group to see when their next production is being performed and support them if you can.
