Theatres & Live Music

We are blessed with a real variety of world class theatres on our doorstep and great live music venues. 

For theatre how about a trip to the:

•  RSC Royal Shakespeare or Swan Theatres in Stratford. Recently updated and reopened in 2011 and with a new tower rising 36m you can get an excellent panorama of Stratford and the River Avon.
• Redditch Palace Theatre in Alcester Street, Redditch , B98 8AE (11 miles/18km)

For live music you could try

• Cox’s Yard in Stratford for live popular music
• Stratford Musical Theatre Company for a great musical
• The old Chapel at Number 1 Shakespeare Street in Stratford upon Avon for Jazz
• The Orchestra of the Swan for classical music. They are based in Stratford upon Avon and perform around the region.

And only a little further away are:

• The NEC and National Indoor Arena
• The Belgrade Theatre Coventry 
• The Birmingham Royal Ballet
